In this garden design, the client envisioned a tranquil yet structured outdoor space that balances natural beauty with thoughtful craftsmanship. A patio serves as the central gathering area, seamlessly connected by a soft meadow grass pathway that gently guides visitors toward a pergola, perfectly positioned to face a serene pond. Corten steel edging adds a contemporary, earthy contrast, defining the pathway while blending harmoniously with the garden’s organic elements. The journey culminates at a stunning dry stone wall, where a set of integrated steps invites exploration and provides a timeless, tactile feature that grounds the entire landscape.

Corsham design

The client was looking for a garden design that captured a relaxed, courtyard-style atmosphere. With the driveway flowing directly into the main terrace, it was essential to blend materials carefully to create a cohesive look. We transformed the tired tarmac drive by replacing it with block paving, and added a planting bed along one side to soften the hardscape. On the terrace, we introduced cobbles to bring texture and character, while a larger planting area was created to anchor the space with greenery and seasonal interest
